FLASH RECAP:
The Redskins (4-9) finally win a game in four tries after leading in the fourth quarter. Washington lost its previous three games by a combined seven points. "This seemed like a long time coming," coach Jim Zorn tells reporters after the Redskins end a nine-game losing streak. "We had been so close in the last couple games. To be able to close it out like we did today, to be able to keep that pressure on the entire game and overcome some of the adversity that was put forth, I just can't tell you how excited I am for our players." Oakland (4-9) fails to win back-to-back games following a win this season for the fourth time. With the loss, the Raiders are eliminated from playoff contention for the seventh straight season. Raiders quarterback Bruce Gradkowski dosen't return after sustaining knee injuries during the first half. He sustains a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee and partially torn MCL in his right knee. Gradkowski is 10-of-18 passing for 153 yards in two quarters against Washington. Former starter JaMarcus Russell, who hears boos when he enters the game in the second half, is 10-of-16 passing for 74 yards with an interception. The Raiders manage 188 yards offense behind Gradkowski, and only 39 with Russell.

RB Darren McFadden Contributes 48-yard and 26-yard catches as a wide receiver. The 48-yarder sets up a field goal and 26-yarder sets up a touchdown, both in the first half. He finishes with 3 catches for 84 yards. K Sebastian Janikowski Makes field goals of 34 and 54 yards but is short on a 66-yard attempt.
KEY STATS:
The Raiders rush for 65 yards on 24 attempts, the fourth time in 13 games that Oakland has rushed for under 70 yards. The Redskins score 30 points in consecutive games for the first time since 2006.
THEY SAID IT:
No one wants that. Theres not a guy in here that wants that. I look at my teammates and try to figure out where their mind is and where their heart is. Its crazy. These guys want to win games. They want to win games. They have the will to do what it takes, and we still go out and we cant win.
Raiders CB Nnamdi Asmougha
"We had heard that Russell's just had a tough time, and you could tell when he stepped on the field and the crowd started booing. To go through that and play through that level of environment, I can't imagine. But as a defense, we can't show mercy. We've got to get to him, and that's what we did."
