FLASH RECAP:
Rodney Peete is 5-for-5 passing for 46 yards and a touchdown to help Oakland (3-2) defeat Green Bay before an announced crowd of 32,300 at Network Associates Coliseum on Aug. 31, 2001. Peete's 1-yard scoring pass to Marcus Knight gives the Raiders a 24-10 advantage with 4:06 left in the third quarter. Oakland builds a 17-7 lead in the first half on touchdown runs by Tyrone Wheatley (49 yards) and Terry Kirby (1 yard) and a 37-yard field goal by Sebastian Janikowski. For Green Bay (2-2), Brett Favre throws an 87-yard scoring pass to Corey Bradford and Ryan Longwell kicks field goals of 24 and 43 yards.

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

Oakland
QB Rodney Peete -- Playing only one offensive series, the 13-year-old veteran engineers a 69-yard scoring drive midway through the third quarter. He completes all five of his passes for 46 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Knight.
WR Marcus Knight -- Has his first NFL touchdown on a 1-yard pass from Rodney Peete. Knight makes his five receptions on Oakland's two touchdown drives.
RB Tyrone Wheatley -- Has the game's first touchdown on a 40-yard run. In Oakland's previous four exhibition games, Wheatley rushed for 33 yards on 13 carries.
CB Brandon Jennings -- Contributes four tackles and breaks up two passes, but he also has a pass interference penalty when he grabs the jersey of Green Bay's Charles Lee.
P Shane Lechler -- Averages 45.7 yards on seven punts. He puts three kicks inside the Green Bay 20 and has a long attempt of 65 yards.
Green Bay
QB Brett Favre -- Throws an 87-yard touchdown pass to Corey Bradford.
WR Corey Bradford -- Out-runs Oakland defensive backs Eric Allen and Anthony Dorsett to the end zone to complete an 87-yard touchdown reception.
PK Ryan Longwell -- Kicks field goals of 24 and 43 yards.

TURNING POINT:
Oakland scores 10 consecutive points for a 17-7 advantage in the first half. Sebastien Janikowski kicks a 37-yard field goal late in the first quarter to break a 10-10 deadlock. After Green Bay is forced to punt, Oakland drives 82 yards for a touchdown. Terry Kirby scores on a 1-yard run, his seventh carry of the 13-play drive.

KEY DRIVE:
The Raiders move 69 yards in 12 plays for a touchdown to build a 24-10 advantage with 4:06 left in the third quarter. QB Rodney Peete hits on five straight passes, including first-down completions to Marcus Knight (17 yards), Randy Jordan (7 yards) and David Dunn (11 yards). On third-and-goal, Peete flips a 1-yard scoring pass to Knight.
