Dolphins 33, Raiders 17

FLASH RECAP:
Chad Henne throws for 307 yards and two touchdowns and Miami’s defense shuts down Oakland as the Dolphins win their fifth straight road game over the Raiders before an announced crowd of 48,946 at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on Nov. 28, 2010.

The Dolphins (6-5) control the football for a whopping 41 minutes, 38 seconds compared to only 18:22 for the Raiders.

Oakland (5-6) has only 263 total yards, including a season-low 16 rushing yards on 12 carries.

Miami records season highs in points (33) and total yards (471).

Jacoby Ford scores both Oakland touchdowns — he opens the game with a 101-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and scores on a 44-yard catch and run late in the first half.

The Raiders’ Bruce Gradkowski, starting his first game since Oct. 10, completes 17 of 37 passes for 252 yards and a touchdown with an interception.

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

Miami
QB Chad Henne — Completes 17 of 30 passes for 307 yards and two touchdowns with an interception. Henne, who missed the past two games because of a knee injury, erases a 14-13 Dolphins halftime deficit by throwing a 57-yard scoring pass to Marlon Moore on the fifth scrimmage play of the third quarter.

WR Davone Bess — The Oakland native has 111 receiving yards on six catches.

RB Ricky Williams — Seals the Dolphins' fifth road victory this season in six games with a 45-yard touchdown run with 3:12 remaining. Williams finishes with 95 rushing yards on 20 carries.

Oakland
WR Jacoby Ford — Has a hand in all three Raiders’ scoring drives. Ford opens the game with a 101-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, his 44-yard touchdown catch deadlocks the score at 13-all and his 52-yard catch sets up a fourth-quarter field goal by Sebastian Janikowski.

RB Darren McFadden — Has a game-high seven catches for 63 yards but is a non-factor in the running game with only 2 rushing yards on eight carries.

MLB Rolando McLain — His interception stops a potential Miami scoring drive at the Oakland 1-yard line.

KEY STATS:
The Raiders have only 16 rushing yards on 12 carries. Oakland enters the game ranked second in the NFL in rushing offense, 152.1 yards per game.

The Dolphins have 186 rushing yards on 49 carries. Miami averaged 66.7 rushing yards the previous three games.
The Raiders are 2 of 9 on third-down conversions and 0-2 on fourth downs. The Dolphins are 9 of 19 on third downs and 1-1 on fourth down.
The Raiders' Walter McFadden, in his first game as a nickel cornerback, is torched for 133 yards on five completions. The rookie gives up three third-down conversions and another first down on a holding penalty.

THEY SAID IT:
"It’s just frustrating. You just want to be out there and try to help and do what you can. But today was ugly, On my part, I can’t play like that. I can’t turn the ball over. That’s on me.”

Raiders QB Bruce Gradkowski

"Everyone stepped up. Marlon Moore came in there, made a great catch. Then, Roberto Wallace, on that third-and-8 that we really needed, came up with the big play. Guys really stepped up on offense. That’s good to see.”

Dolphins QB Chad Henne

“If you can’t run the ball, nothing else matters,” Barnes said. “If you can’t stop the run, nothing else matters.”

Raiders OT Khalif Barnes
