Report: Marinovich
Arrested While Naked

Former Raiders quarterback Todd Marinovich was arrested Aug. 19 after he was found naked with marijuana in someone else’s backyard in Irvine, police said Aug. 22.

Marinovich, 47, was cited for trespassing, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, Irvine police Commander Mike Hallinan said Aug. 22, according to the Orange County Register.

The Los Angeles Raiders selected Marinovich with the 24th overall pick in the 1991 NFL Draft after playing two years at USC. His NFL career only lasted two seasons with the Raiders. He suited up in eight games, throwing eight touchdowns and nine interceptions. He was released by the Raiders following the 1992 season after repeated drug use.
