FLASH RECAP:
Larry Johnson rushes for 137 yards and a touchdown and Trent Green throws for another score to help Kansas City (8-7) end a three-game losing streak. The Raiders (2-13) drop their eighth straight and equal the franchise record of 13 losses in a season, set in 1962 when they went 1-13. The loss also completes a second straight winless season for Oakland in the AFC West. The Raiders have lost their past 14 division games. "I've never been involved in a season like this. The way we're playing and the record we have, it's unbelievable," free safety Stuart Schweigert tells reporters after the game. "There's frustration, but we know those guys want to win as much as we do. They're working hard. They're having meetings. They're not going out there to fumble the ball." The Chiefs become the first team to beat the Raiders eight straight times. It's the most consecutive wins by either team in the Chiefs-Raiders series, which began in 1960. Sebastian Janikowski kicks three field goals for Oakland, which doesn't score an offensive touchdown for the seventh time in 15 games this season. The Raiders show a few positives on offense. Ronald Curry has a career-high 11 catches for 106 yards and Justin Fargas rushes for a career-high 90 yards on 19 carries. Walter is 27-of-37 passing for 226 yards, but kills drives with four turnovers.
