Brown makes his second interception of the game after the ball bounces off Heyward-Bey at the Kansas City 10-yard line with 30 seconds remaining. It's the seventh straight road win for the Chiefs over the Raiders. Until now, Oakland had never lost seven in a row at home to an opponent. Jamaal Charles scores on a 44-yard run and Ryan Succop kicks three field goals to help the Chiefs (2-7) win for only the fifth time the past 35 games. Oakland (2-7) scores all its points in the first quarter — a Justin Fargas 1-yard touchdown run and a 50-yard Sebastian Janikowski field goal. PRIME-TIME PLAYERS: RB Jamaal Charles — Has 103 rushing yards on 18 carries and a TD. WR Dwayne Bowe — Contributes 91 receiving yards on six catches.
DT Tommy Kelly — Has a sack, a tackle for loss and three total tackles. WR Johnnie Lee Higgins — Contributes four catches for 41 yards.
KEY STATS:
Bruce Gradkowski relieves JaMarcus Russell late in the third quarter and finishes with two interceptions in nine attempts. Before being benched, Russell is 9-of-23 passing for 64 yards. Jamal Charles' 44-yard scoring run during the second quarter is the Chiefs' first rushing touchdown of the season, making them the last team in the NFL to rush for a score. The Raiders commit 10 penalties for 88 yards, both season highs.
