FLASH RECAP:
Oakland is no match for San Diego, which builds a 27-0 advantage late in the second quarter. The Raiders suffer their 11th straight loss to the Chargers. "We're not close, and it's clear that we're not close," cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha tells reporters after Oakland's sixth straight loss to San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium. "We don't play good football, we don't play sound football, and we have been undisciplined. "We wonder why we don't get prime time games, and this is why. We were on Monday night against Denver (Sept. 8), we got blown out. Now, we came here and we got blown out. You just wonder how many people care and how many people are upset. You can't go out and play the way we played and expect to win or expect to do well." Oakland's only touchdown is on Justin Davis' 92-yard kickoff return. The inept Raiders have only 163 total yards and 9 first downs, compared to 372 total yards and 18 first downs for the Chargers. Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell is sidelined with a sprained right ankle late in the first half. He doesn't return after sustaining the injury. The second-year veteran finishes 9-of-13 passing for 68 yards with 2 interceptions and a lost fumble. San Diego scores 17 points off of the three Russell turnovers. Oakland falls to 6-30 in its past 36 games against AFC West opponents.

THEY SAID IT:
Raiders CB Nnamdi Asomugha
"I’m sick of losing, especially like that. We never really got going on offense and when we did, penalties and interceptions and fumbles killed us. As an offense we were inept again.”
Raiders TE Zach Miller “It was desperately needed but it was one win for us. We don’t want to make it more than what it is.”
Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson
By THE NUMBERS:
