Broncos 37, Raiders 21

FLASH RECAP:
Peyton Manning throws for 374 yards and three touchdowns to lead host Denver to a blowout victory over Oakland at Sports Authority Field at Mile High before an announced crowd of 76,978 on Sept. 23, 2013.

The undefeated Broncos (3-0) build leads of 17-0 and 27-7 during the first half en route to their 14th consecutive regular-season victory. Denver finishes with a whopping 536 total yards and 31 first downs.

Manning sets an NFL record for touchdown passes (12) in the first three games of a season. Manning throws scoring passes to Eric Decker, Wes Welker and Julius Thomas during the first half against the defense-less Raiders (1-2).

The Broncos score points on seven of their first 10 drives of the game with two lost fumbles and a punt being the only non-scoring possessions.

Oakland's Terrelle Pryor throws for 281 yards and a TD before being sidelined with a concussion late in the game.

Oakland falls to 1-9 in its past 10 Monday night games.

The Broncos beat the Raiders in Denver for the second straight season after losing four straight home games to Oakland (2008 to 2011).

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

Denver
QB Peyton Manning — Ho hum, another masterpiece. Manning is 32 of 37 passing for 374 yards, three TDs with no INTs and a gaudy 135.8 passer rating. He is 21 of 24 for 264 yards and three scores in the first half.

WR Eric Decker — Has 133 receiving yards on eight catches and a TD.

WR Wes Welker — The former Patriot contributes 84 receiving yards on seven catches and a TD.

Oakland
QB Terrelle Pryor — Is 19 of 28 passing for 281 yards and a TD before being sidelined during the fourth quarter with a concussion. He also rushes for a team-high 36 yards on four carries.

WR Denarius Moore — Scores the Raiders' first TD on a 73-yard catch-and-run. Moore finishes with six catches for 124 yards.

DE Lamarr Houston — His third-quarter sack-strip of Peyton Manning stops a Denver drive at the Oakland 13-yard line.

KEY STATS:
Peyton Manning’s 12 touchdown passes this season are one more than Tom Brady’s previous NFL record for the first three games, set in 2011. Denver's Manning still has yet to throw an interception, which matches a record held by Michael Vick, who also threw 12 touchdowns before his first pick in 2010.

Oakland running back Darren McFadden is held to 9 rushing yards on 12 carries, reportedly the lowest yards per carry (0.8) for a Raiders back in 35 years. He entered the Week 3 game as the AFC's top rusher with 177 yards.
The Broncos have scored 127 points this season. Only the 1968 Dallas Cowboys scored more (132) over their first three games.
In losing the past four games to the Broncos, the Raiders have been outscored, 64-138.

THEY SAID IT:
"You just know coming in and playing a team like the Broncos, you don’t have any room for error. Playing against Jacksonville, you have some room for some things and you can make up for it. But with him, you can’t. He’s going to find whatever weakness you have out there, if you’re not fundamentally sound in what you have to do, he’s going to find it, he’s going to exploit it."

Raiders S Charles Woodson
on Denver's Peyton Manning

"He's a special player, one of the best to ever play, so you expect that from him. But to get where we want to go, it has to be about the defense. Peyton is going to do his job. In order to be a great defense, you have to slam the door on teams."

Broncos DE Shaun Phillips

BY THE NUMBERS:
0: Turnovers by Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor for the second straight game.
49: Oakland rushing yards on 17 carries. The Raiders enter the game with a league-best average of 198.5 rushing yards per game.
138: Denver points the past four games against Oakland, all Broncos victories.

DID YOU KNOW?:
Darren McFadden throws a 16-yard TD pass to Marcel Reece for Oakland's second touchdown, McFadden's first completion in two attempts in his NFL career. McFadden joins Harvey Williams as only Raiders backs with a TD run and pass in same game.

Broncos quarterbacks coach Greg Knapp was Oakland offensive coordinator during the 2012 season. He was fired after the team's 4-12 season.
