Bills 38, Raiders 35

FLASH RECAP:
Oakland surrenders 35 second-half points as host Buffalo rallies for a victory before an announced crowd of 68,191 at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York on Sept. 18, 2011.

Ryan Fitzpatrick throws a 6-yard touchdown pass to David Nelson with 14 seconds left to lift the Bills (2-0) to the win.

On the game's final play, Jason Campbell's Hail Mary pass from the Oakland 44 is intercepted in the end zone by cornerback Da'Norris Searcy, who outwrestles receiver Denarius Moore for the ball.

Buffalo scores touchdowns on each of its five second-half possessions, reportedly the first time a team has accomplished the feat since 1993. The Bills and Raiders trade the lead five times during the final 14:10.

Fitzpatrick is 28 of 46 passing for 264 yards and three touchdowns while running back Fred Jackson rushes for 117 yards and scores twice for the Bills.

The 38 points are the most allowed by Oakland (1-1) in a loss since a 43-37 defeat to Seattle in 1998. The Raiders surrender 481 total yards — 326 in the second half — and 34 first downs.
