Raiders 25, Bears 20

FLASH RECAP:
Sebastian Janikowski makes six field goals and Shane Lechler has an 80-yard punt, both franchise records, to help Oakland defeat visiting Chicago before an announced crowd of 59,244 at O.co Coliseum on Nov. 27, 2011.

Janikowski hits field goals of 40, 47, 42, 19, 37 and 44 yards to break the team record he shared with Jeff Jaeger. Lechler has a 49.2-yard net average, pinning the Bears' dangerous Devin Hester inside the 20 on three of five punts.

“Our two kickers are fantastic,” coach Hue Jackson tells reporters after Oakland's third straight win. “There’s not another punter or kicker in the National Football League I would ever want to have on the football team. I said to the team when this was over, those were the two men who were here the last time this team was 7-4. Those guys have a lot to do with it. They did a tremendous job.”

Despite holding Oakland to 73 rushing yards, the Bears (7-4) lose for the first time in six games. Caleb Hanie's two touchdown passes and Robby Gould's two field goals account for Chicago's scoring. Michael Bush has a 3-yard TD run for Oakland (7-4).

PRIME-TIME PLAYERS:

Oakland
K Sebastian Janikowski — Has a franchise-record six field goals.

QB Carson Palmer — Is 21 of 37 passing for 301 yards and an interception. Palmer's 47-yard completion to Louis Murphy sets up Michael Bush's 3-yard TD run with 3:47 remaining.

P Shane Lechler — Has a 54.6 gross average on five punts, including a franchise-best 80-yard punt early in the fourth quarter.

Chicago
Bears defense — The unit allows only 73 rushing yards and has four sacks on Carson Palmer.

WR/KR Johnny Knox — Has 278 total yards with 145 coming on his four catches and 133 on four kick returns.

QB Caleb Hanie — Is 18 of 36 passing for 254 yards and two TDs with three interceptions.

KEY STATS:
The Raiders limited the Bears' Matt Forte to 59 yards rushing and 84 yards from scrimmage — 55 yards below his league-leading average.

Michael Bush's 3-yard touchdown run gives the Raiders their first points in the fourth quarter since a Week 5 win at Houston on Oct. 9.
Oakland commits six penalties for 44 yards, their second lowest totals of the season. The Raiders had five penalties for 35 yards against Cleveland on Oct. 16.

THEY SAID IT:
"It won’t always be pretty. But we’re finding ways to win. Isn’t that the most important thing?"

Raiders coach Hue Jackson

“We should have won that football game based on the way our offense played. We didn’t play well enough on defense. We gave up too many big plays, didn’t get enough takeaways. That’s why we didn’t win.”

Bears MLB Brian Urlacher

BY THE NUMBERS:
2-20: Raiders record the past 22 games when they rush for fewer than 75 yards. Chicago held Oakland to a season-low 73 rushing yards on 27 carries.
7: Return yards on two punt returns by the Bears' Devin Hester.
8: Sacks allowed by Oakland during the past two games, including four against Chicago. The Raiders surrendered only 11 sacks during the season's first nine games.

DID YOU KNOW?:
Shane Lechler's 80-yard punt against Chicago surpasses Wayne Crow's Raiders record of 77 yards set against the New York Titans in 1961. Lechler's previous best was a 73-yarder against San Diego in 2003.

With the victory, the Raiders improve to 7-6 against the Bears. Chicago drops to 2-3 against the Raiders in Oakland.
