London Calling
The Raiders will play the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 14, 2018 at Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, the NFL announced Jan. 18. Oakland will host a game outside the U.S. for a third straight year and the fourth time in five years. The Raiders played in Mexico City the past two seasons and hosted a game in London in 2014.
2018 Preseason Opponents Announced
The Raiders' 2018 preseason schedule includes home games with the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers and road contests against the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. Dates and kickoff times will be announced later by the NFL.
AFL Lives On
The Raiders are among eight NFL franchises that began play in 1960 as original members of the American Football League.
Along with the Raiders, the other seven AFL originals are: Buffalo Bills, Boston Patriots (New England Patriots), Denver Broncos, Dallas Texans (Kansas City Chiefs), Houston Oilers (Tennessee Titans), Los Angeles Chargers (San Diego Chargers) and New York Titans (New York Jets).
