STAR OF THE GAME
Sebastien Janikowski kicks a 44-yard field goal, his fourth of the game, and Oakland (11-3) holds off San Diego (5-9) to clinch its first playoff berth since 2002. The 17-year veteran also makes kicks from 45, 33 and 21 yards to help propel the Raiders back into first place in the AFC West, coupled with Kansas City's loss to Tennesse earlier in the day. Janikowski has made 16 of his last 17 field-goal attempts.

KEY STATS
On the Raiders' winning drive, Latavius Murray has a 27-yard run and Derek Carr completes a 22-yard pass to Seth Roberts before Sebastian Janikowski kicks the go-ahead field goal from 44 yards with 2:40 remaining.
Safety Reggie Nelson seals the Raiders victory when he intercepts Philip Rivers on fourth down at the San Diego 28 and returns it 15 yards to the 13 with 1:37 remaining. Time expires after three kneel downs by Derek Carr.
The Raiders' Derek Carr is 19 of 30 passing for 213 yards and a TD with an interception. Carr's 13-yard scoring pass to Michael Crabtree with 22 seconds left before halftime is first ruled incomplete but reversed after replay shows Crabtree has both feet down before tumbling out of the end zone.
The Raiders beat the Chargers for the fourth straight game despite having turnovers in the red zone on successive possessions in the first half. Latavius Murray loses a fumble at the San Diego 9 late in the first quarter and on Oakland's next possession Derek Carr is intercepted by Trovon Reed at the 6.
Oakland defensive end Khalil Mack does not have a sack for the first time in nine games. Linebacker Bruce Irvin has two sacks, five solo tackles and a forced fumble against the Chargers.
The Chargers' Philip Rivers is 17 of 30 passing for 206 yards with two TDs and an interception. He drops to 14-8 in career starts against the Raiders.
